Based on feedback, emails and comments to our site, it seems quite clear that the most desirable tablet in the ZenPad line-up is the hero model, the Z580CA. It’s little wonder why when you consider that spec for spec it is pretty much top of the class.
We also seen from our poll, that a 10-inch ZenPad is about the second most popular choice. The ZenPad 10 is certainly a great tablet and has all the things that the Transformer Pad has or had (with the exception of a trackpad on the keyboard dock). The question then becomes, is there room for another hero?
Do you think Asus should look at a 10-inch ZenPad S 10.0? If you look at where Asus seems to be targeting their efforts, Samsung and Apple are certainly right there. With the ZenPad S 8.0 (Z580CA) competing with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0, should Asus then have a tablet to compete with the Samsug Galaxy Tab S2 10.0? It would seem like a void in the Asus competitive arsenal. The ZenPad 10 (Z300 Series) is going more budget than hero. Thus, why were saying there is a void.
So the question for you our visitor is this. Should Asus release a ZenPad S 10.0 (Z500CA) hero tablet? It’s not even whether you might buy one, but it’s whether you think Asus would be better off competitively to have it in their line-up. Do you think Asus is seeing how the market responds to their 8-inch hero tablet before plunging into more size options? Please vote and let’s discuss in the comment sections!
